No matter the season, you’ll find plenty to do to fill your weekends here in Steuben County!
Between late November and the end of February, the toboggan run at Pokagon State Park is open for fun. Toboggans rent for $10 per hour per sled, and hold up to four people. You’ll make it to the bottom of the 1,780-foot slide in approximately 35 seconds! If there’s enough snow, rent skis at the C.C.C. Shelter at the park, or bring your own sled to play in the park.
Summer weekends can start at the farmer’s markets in Angola and Orland. Stop by one of the hometown festivals for good food and fun and then rent paddleboat at Pokagon State Park to explore the lake.
Fall and spring are great times for golfing in Northern Indiana Lakes Country. Tee it up at one of seven courses, then enjoy a great meal at one of our restaurants. Shop The Outlet Shoppes at Fremont, tour Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve and wind down with some free tasting at Satek Winery.
Our hotels offer various packages and deals throughout the year. The Potawatomi Inn inside Pokagon State Park occasionally has a special ‘buy one night, get one free’ offer. Call 877-768-2928 for details.
