It’s summer and it’s time to enjoy fresh produce! Throughout Northern Indiana Lakes Country you’ll find a variety of Farmer’s Markets:

• Fremont’s Farmer’s Market remains open through Oct. 9. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon at the Fremont Town Park, at the corner of Bell and Albion streets.
• Angola’s Farmer’s Market is back for another year at the Steuben Community Center, 317 S. Wayne St. The market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. At Smorgie's north of Wendy's in Angola, pick up fresh produce Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m.
• In Orland, the Farmer’s Market will be held in front of the Draft Horse Saloon on State Road 120. Find produce and other items on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.
